Components
We held a workshop on 25 July 2011 to start off our review of the Schedule 8 performance regime as part of the periodic review 2013 (PR13).
The Schedule 8 performance regime provides:
- a basis for compensation to train operators for the impact of lateness and cancellations on their revenues; and
- incentives for Network Rail and train operators to continuously improve performance where it makes economic sense to do so, achieved by Network Rail and train operators making bonus payments/ paying financial compensation where performance is better or worse than a benchmark.
