Cardiff Central remains the most heavily used station in Wales clocking over 11.6 million passenger entries and exits last year – an increase of 130,146 (or 1.1%) compared to 2011-12, reveals latest data published today by the Office of Rail Regulation.

London Waterloo remains the most heavily used station in Britain clocking nearly 96 million passenger entries and exits last year – an increase of 1.8m (or 1.9%) compared to 2011-12, reveals latest data published today by the Office of Rail Regulation (ORR).

Edinburgh station in Scotland saw the highest increase in passenger use last year clocking nearly 18.9 million passenger entries and exits – an increase of 887,334 (or 4.9%) compared to 2011-12, reveals latest data published today by the Office of Rail Regulation.
