The issue of safety relating to the interface between the platform and train and the safe dispatch of trains is an area of focus for the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) and the industry.

This group discussed issues relating to the development of the framework for Network Rail’s outputs and performance monitoring. This included considering the role of Network Rail’s stakeholders in informing what Network Rail would deliver. This working group was disbanded at the end of 2016 and Outputs items were covered through the RDG Route level regulation, charges and incentives working group

This group discussed issues relating to the regulation of system operation. Garry White chaired this RDG working group.
