Changes to the National Rail Conditions of Carriage that come into effect today mean that season ticket holders will no longer have restrictions on the number of replacements for their lost or stolen tickets, and; passengers who are delayed during a rail journey can now choose to be compensated with money instead of rail vouchers.

How can we make the rail ticket market more innovative and stimulate competition to benefit passengers?

The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) today published its latest occupational health report which shows that there has been a meaningful improvement in the rail industry's management of worker health over the last four years.
