Office of Rail and Road Director of railway markets and economics John Larkinson said:
Passengers must be at the heart of our railways, and it is positive that we are seeing praise for improvements in key areas including passenger information.
This is an encouraging step forward as the rail industry has been working hard to improve standards of services for passengers.
We are currently reviewing the rail industry’s work to improve passengers’ experience, particularly on compensation and ticketing, as well as passenger information. This will help the industry build on successes, share best practice, and deliver even more for passengers in the future. We will report on our findings in Spring 2016.
