Consultation outcome
On 24 May 2019 we consulted on proposed updated guidance, reflecting the European Commission’s Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/2177 of 22 November 2017 on access to service facilities and rail-related services (stations, light maintenance depots, freight terminals and other sites and associated services). We have now set out our conclusions, with a reminder to service facility owners about the need to produce Service Facility Descriptions. Our conclusions letter also explains the changes we have made to reflect The Railways (Access, Management and Licensing of Railway Undertakings) (Amendment) Regulations 2019.
