This consultation sought views on the proposed changes to the Risk Management Maturity Model (RM3).

We sought the views of tramway dutyholders on our proposed approach to improving how the safety of Britain’s tramways is regulated and supervised by ORR.

Following a review in 2016 we have have concluded that there are sufficient accredited bodies in the market to allow it withdraw from performing the ECM certification body function.

With this consultation we sought views on a draft document ‘Goal-setting principles for railway safety’ which sets out our high-level expectations for new or altered works, railway vehicles, plant and equipment.

We have now completed the consultation on the revision of this guidance.
