Flexible working

25 days' annual leave (which increases to 30 days over 5 years)

In addition to your annual leave increment during your first five years, you will receive 9 days' public and privilege holidays. Annual leave entitlement, public and privilege holidays is pro-rated for part-time workers.

Pension scheme

Depending on whether you're permanent or on a contract, you can choose between two excellent pension schemes. These equate to around 30% additional salary.

Our childcare voucher scheme allows parents to make significant tax and national insurance savings on their childcare costs.

Interest free season ticket and bike loans

We offer interest free loans for season tickets, or if you'd like to purchase a bicycle. The advance is payable in monthly instalments.

Cycle to work scheme

If you'd rather hire a bike and cycling equipment, the hire costs are deducted from your salary on a monthly basis. This leads to savings in tax and national insurance.

Health & wellbeing

We offer an excellent occupational health service and Employee Assistance Programme. For example we usually provide flu vaccinations every year, as well as workstation assessments and free eye tests; also you have access to 24/7/365 counselling.

Staff Engagement

ORR has a single table for negotiation and consultation with trade union side and (non-union) staff side working together as the staff representatives group (SRG). SRG meets with management every other month at staff council meetings where changes to staff terms, conditions and other working arrangements, including the pay deal are discussed. Twice a year all staff have the opportunity to attend staff council as observers.
